  PC / ABS Chemical Name: Polycarbonate and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer and mixture

Typical Applications:

Computer and commercial machine shells, electrical equipment plastic housing, lawn and gardening machines, auto parts (dashboards, interior trim and wheel covers) and medical device plastic covers



Injection molding process conditions:

Drying: Drying before processing is required. Humidity should be less than 0.04%, the recommended drying conditions for 90 ~ 110 C, 2 to 4 hours.

Melting temperature: 230 ~ 300C.

Mold temperature: 50 ~ 100C.

Injection pressure: depending on plastic parts.

Injection speed: as high as possible.

Shrinkage rate: 0.5 to 0.6%

Chemical and physical properties:

PC / ABS has the comprehensive characteristics of both PC and ABS. Such as the easy process of ABS and the excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability of the PC. The ratio of the two will affect the thermal stability of the PC / ABS material. PC / ABS This hybrid material also shows excellent flow characteristics, so the current application is very extensive.
